Actress Tamara Podemksi was nominated as Best Supporting Actress for the 2008 Film Independent Spirit Awards for her role in "FOUR SHEETS TO THE WIND."   The awards were  held February 23 in Santa Monica, CA.  Cate Blancett won the award for her performance of Bob Dylan in "I'm Not There." Other nominees include Cate Blanchett, Marisa Tomei, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Anna Kendrick.   The film was written and directed by Sterlin Harjo, produced by Chad Burris and Ted Kroeber, with casting by Chris Freihofer.

SPLINTER, the debut feature film by Los Angeles special effects guru Toby Wilkins, was recently picked up by Magnet Releasing, the new genre division of Magnolia Pictures, owned by Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban.  The film was produced by Kai Barry and Ted Kroeber, with casting by Chris Freihofer and was shot entirely in Oklahoma in the summer of 2007.   Look for a 2008 release.
